Tali’ Ceremony Team Brings Home Top HonorsTalidandaganu’ made quite an impression at the 2010 SR-6 Conclave. Teams from the Lodge participated in Pre-Ordeal, Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil ceremony evaluations. Of the teams participating in the evaluations, Talidandaganu’ received the “Honor” evaluation in the Pre-Ordeal, Brotherhood, and two Vigil ceremonies! The teams performing the best then underwent another evaluation to compete with other Lodges in the section. Talidandaganu’ is proud to announce the following awards received:
Lastly, Talidandaganu's ceremony team was awarded the Number One team in the entire Section! Congratulations to these fine ceremonialists and their adviser, Dennis Williams. New InformationUpdated April 13, 2010

Section SR-6 ConclaveConclave this year is at Boxwell Scout Reservation near Nashville. Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge, Middle Tennessee Council, will serve as the section's gracious hosts for a great weekend of training! Mark your calendars for April 16-18, 2010. Over 1,000 Arrowmen from Tennessee, Kentucky, and other surrounding states will be at Boxwell Reservation that weekend for the Section SR-6 Conclave. At the Section Conclave, Order of the Arrow members gather for world-class training, games, and fellowship. This will be largest gathering of Order of the Arrow members in our section this year except for at the National Jamboree. Every registered Arrowman is needed. Included in this price is one Talidandaganu' lodge flap, one Talidandaganu' Conclave t-shirt, one Conclave participation patch, as well as standard Conclave registration fees. Registration will be online this year, which is a first. Here's what you'll do: 1) First, go to the following website: http://tinyurl.com/conclave2010 2) Click "Sign On" at the top of the page. 3) Click the link where it says "To continue without sign on click here..." 4) Enter your first and last names; click "add." 5) Click "Continue." 6) Fill out the page with the necessary information; click "Continue." 7) Fill out the second page; click "Continue." 8) Fill out the third page (Talidandaganu's mandatory extra fees); click "Continue." 9) Finally, enter your payment information, and click "Purchase." If you have any questions about this process, contact Ron Turpin, at rturpin@mtcbsa.org; or the Talidandaganu' webmaster at web@tali293.org. Conclave TrainingYou'll notice as you're registering that Conclave training looks a little bit different. Have no fear! We have a handy guide that will help you sort it all out. Use this guide to help you choose the classes you will take. Here it is! If you aren't registering for conclave online, let Lodge Adviser Tim Steadman know. He can tell the Conclave folks what training sessions you pick so they can save a seat for you! It's important to pre-register for training (either by registering online, or by contacting the Lodge Adviser). Otherwise, if you just show up, many classes will be full. There will be some left open, but don't leave it to chance! What's this Golf Tournament Thing? You'll notice when you register that you have the option of registering for a golf tournament at an extra cost of $40.00. Here's the scoop with that: The golf tournament will be held Firday, April 16 at 1:00pm Central Time. The location
is Country Hills Golf Course in Hendersonville. Each
person will be responsible for their transportation there. Golfers may show up
earlier in order to hit some practice balls (included in the price!). The style of the tournament is best ball
foursome meaning the best ball between four team members will be played.
There is also a longest drive and closest to the pin competition. The cost
of the tournament is $40 which covers green fee and cart fee. The "profit"
(which isn't much) will be given to Conclave if Conclave fails to make enough
money to cover cost. Otherwise, all extra funds will go into a donation to
either the Native American Campership fund or the National Endowment (this is
still being decided). Wa-Hi-Nasa, the host lodge, is looking for at least
one team from each lodge, but if more than four people from a lodge want to
play, then they'll be glad to have them. If someone is not on a team, the
host lodge can assign them to one when they arrive. Everyone should bring
their own clubs. The clubhouse has five or six sets of clubs available to
rent, available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be prizes!. For quick reference, here's the
scoop: For more information on the golf tournament, contact Jake Jones at Jake-Fisher@comcast.net or the Talidandaganu' webmaster at web@tali293.org. Directions to ConclaveBoxwell Reservation 1260 Creighton Ln. Lebanon, TN 37087

An Outdoor camp site with paved sidewalks is located near shower house #1 for
